Montreal's Geodesic Dream
Montreal’s Geodesic Dreams is an exhibition that took place at the Design Centre from the Université du Québec à Montréal in the fall of 2017. It is the result of the research of Carlo Carbone, Réjean Legault and Cammie McAtee. The exhibition deals with Jeffrey Lindsay’s involvement in the research and development of geodesic structures that are so popular around the world. The process of creating the dome (1:1 scale prototype in the room) and the models made are part of the book Montreal’s Geodesic Dreams, published on December 8, 2017. This book, like the exhibition, deals with the research and work of Jeffrey Lindsay and his teacher, Richard Buckminster Fuller.
